Who is Fooska?
Vegan food delivered in sustainable packaging
Fooska® is a big, bold, and daring concept that wishes to map the seemingly impossible goal of living in harmony on a sustainable planet, as well as a daily affirmation in the form of a plant-based diet. Together, we can build a better world.
Halima, the founder & head chef of Fooska, is a passionate supporter of environmental issues. Halima has developed a company that could make a real and long-lasting positive change in the way we enjoy our takeaway food by using a zero-waste concept.
It all started in 2018, during a visit to the native country Bangladesh. She was utterly shocked at the level of plastic waste that was discarded in the environment and pledged to make a difference in ways she can.
This is when Fooska was established to reintroduce Bangladeshi food to people in the UK with a modern take on it by using zero plastic packagings and going one step further, and introducing the Tiffins Meals for truly a zero-waste takeaway.
It doesn't stop there, Halima is currently working to develop a virtual food hall that would allow other chefs and businesses to serve people great tasting food in packaging that wouldn't cost the Earth.

Good home-cooked food to enjoy with family
Our mission is to reintroduce Bangladeshi plant-based cuisine as it is eaten at home with our family, with no additives, no extras, just good old curries cooked with love.
We want you to enjoy plant-based food without worrying about packaging waste which ends up in landfill sites around the world.
All our dishes are cooked at home using fresh and locally sourced ingredients where possible from scratch. We do not use ready-made paste or gravies to flavour our dishes. Everything from the Samosas, to the curries, are cooked fresh on the day of the order.
